First Australians Capital (FAC) is an Indigenous founded and led organisation that believes in the cultural, creative and economic capital of Indigenous Australians to
achieve self-determination and economic justice.

FAC focuses on early stage and start-up Indigenous-run businesses, providing a range of resources including professional business support and services, networking and access to financial capital.

Impact Strategy and Investment Mandate

First Australians Capital was established in 2016 to address two significant gaps in the Indigenous business ecosystem, business development and support and access to start-up capital and mainstream finance.

To date, FAC has supported over 400 Indigenous-led organisations with thousands of hours of mentorship, guidance and advice, and access to over $42m in capital.

Mannifera funding is supporting the development of FAC’s 2030 Economic Horizon for Indigenous-led Impact Strategy and a five-year strategic plan that will lead to an Investment Mandate to grow and scale FAC’s work. This will support progress towards the long-term goal of an Impact Investment Fund.
